About this event
The Race City 5K is a chip-timed road race through downtown Mooresville, paying homage to the town's deep NASCAR heritage. The course winds past historic Main Street, through residential neighborhoods, and finishes at Liberty Park.
All skill levels are welcome — serious runners compete for age-group awards while families enjoy the 1-mile fun run that starts at 9am. Post-race festivities include a beer garden, food trucks, and awards ceremony. Proceeds benefit local youth athletics programs.
